Over mij
Mijn naam is Ida Buist (1977) en ik woon met mijn drie prachtige dochters in de stad Groningen. Ik heb mezelf nooit een studiebol gevonden, maar wanneer het om het menselijk lichaam gaat, raak ik niet uitgeleerd. Fascinerend en ongekend mooi. Het lichaam weet en onthoudt het allemaal. Twintig jaar geleden ben ik afgestudeerd als fysiotherapeut. En omdat ik met mijn hoofd alles wilde begrijpen, heb ik daarna nog een universitaire studie gedaan en een proefschrift geschreven. Des te meer ik leerde, des te meer vragen er ontstonden.
Nadat ik, ruim 10 jaar geleden, te maken kreeg met een situatie die ik niet aan had zien komen, iets wat ik met mijn hoofd niet kon begrijpen, ging er een wereld voor mij open.
Het begon met een 8-weekse cursus mindfulness. Met de body-scan, kon ik mijn lichaam van binnenuit voelen. Een magische sensatie. Het voelen van mijn lichaam kende ik daarvoor alleen maar van het heel hard sporten. Na de mindfulness cursus ging ik verder met Yoga en begon ik aan een healing-opleiding. In eerste instantie voor mezelf. Maar nu, een aantal jaren en vele opleidingen en cursussen verder, wil ik niets liever dan het delen van hetgeen wat ik heb mogen leren.
